CABINS AT WASSIAGOMIN

Each of our cabins is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, oven, tableware and cookware. The woodstove in your cabin will take the chill out of those beautiful spring and autumn evenings. Our cabins are well furnished with electricity and hot and cold running water. Our smaller cabins with cold running water, we provide indoor facilities. You may enjoy a comfortable hot shower, or relax in our wood fired sauna all in our centrally located facility. We also have central barbeque grill, gas grill and deep fryer for your use. We do ask that you bring your own sleeping bags, pillow cases, towels and personal soap.

Our guests also supply their own food and should remember to bring accompanying supplies such as paper towels and food wrapping. We do provide cleaning products for the kitchen. Live bait and ice are available at the lodge. We also have a screened in fish cleaning house with running water and for your convenience we have a freezer available to store your trophy catch.

We also have boats available on portage lakes, Katrine, Meath, Pinny, Loc Lamonde, Burns, Martin and Carter. These small lakes provide a change of pace and a days adventure. When you aren't fishing or exploring, our shallow sandy bay provides excellent swimming for children. You may join them or keep your eye on them while relaxing or tossing horseshoes on the sandy beach.

From Sault Ste Marie Ontario, drive north on Hwy 17, 145 miles to Wawa. From Wawa follow Hwy 101 - 40 miles to Jct Hwy 651. Turn north on 651 and proceed 34 miles to Missanabie. When you arrive at Missanabie, follow the road until it crosses the RR tracks, then turn sharp right on road parallel to the tracks and proceed to North Shore Parking Lot where the Sheshequin family will handle your parking and notify us of your arrival. On Saturdays, boat transportation is available for guests arriving between 10 AM and 1 PM.
